🌀 Bouncy Squashies – Features & How They Work

What are Bouncy Squashies?

Bouncy Squashies are colorful, animated bouncing balls for Second Life, designed to bring fun, movement, and personality to your avatar. Whether you're at a party, in a photoshoot, or just goofing around with friends, these quirky companions add a dose of joy and kinetic energy to your virtual life!

✨ Features

✅ Wearable Bounce Action
Attach a Squashie to your avatar and it will bounce with you wherever you go — adding cute, unpredictable movement as you walk, dance, or stand.

✅ Touch-Activated Tricks
Click the ball to trigger fun tricks like flips, squishes, or sparkly bounce animations depending on the edition.

✅ Custom Idle Animations
Some Squashies come with idle "wiggle" or "inflate-deflate" effects that run while you stand still, giving them a living toy feel.

✅ Optional Sound Effects
Enable or disable soft "boing!" or "squish" sounds that trigger on bounce or touch — for extra playfulness.

✅ Rezzable or Wearable
Use your Bouncy Squashie as a wearable accessory (attached to foot, hip, or hand) or rez it in-world as playful decor, game props, or stage effects.

✅ Lightweight & Low Lag
Each Squashie is optimized with low land impact and clean scripting — perfect for events, hangouts, or daily fun.

🛠️ How It Works

  1. Wearable Use

    • Right-click in inventory and "Attach to…" your chosen joint (foot, hand, hip, etc.).

    • It will automatically bounce as you walk or idle.

    • Touch the ball in-world to activate special animations or effects.

  2. Rezzable Use

    • Drag the Squashie from your inventory into the world.

    • It will bounce in place or animate randomly.

    • Great for event decor, kids' areas, or photo settings.

  3. Customization (varies by edition)

    • Some versions come with a texture HUD or color change options.

    • Enable/disable sounds or animations via notecard or menu.

    • Modify scale, position, or behavior if copy/mod permissions are included.
